Special Events

In addition to their regular meetings and outdoor activities, many packs organize special events, held at various times of the year.

Blue and Gold Banquets
During the month of Scouting's anniversary, packs across the country hold blue and gold banquets. In nearly all packs, the banquet is a highlight of the program year.
Cub Scout Derbies
Cub Scout derbies teach Cub Scouts craft skills, the rules of fair play, and good sportsmanship.
Service Projects
Participating in service projects as a group is one of the ways in which boys in Cub Scouting fulfill their promise "to help other people."
District and Council Activities
Your local council or district office may schedule activities in which all the packs in your area are invited to participate.
