August 2019 Creature Conservancy

Saturday August 17 - 18th 2019
We'll spend Saturday at the Creature Conservancy combined with an overnight camp at Camp Munhacke.  
Webelos will have the option of camping Friday night as well as Saturday night.
The pack will pay for scouts' admission to the Creature Conservancy and campsite fees.
Siblings and Adult fees to be paid by participants 
Note that full details are still being finalized for this event.

Event Schedule

Friday - 5pm Camp Munhacke open for Webelos to set up their tents and gear.
Friday night Webelos campfire
Saturday - 8am-12noon  Camp Munhacke open for Pack families to set up their tents and gear.

Creature Conservancy: 
1pm meet inside the gates
5pm Creature Conservancy closes for the evening

1:30 Gator Feeding on the Alligator Boardwalk 

2:00 Kangaroo Program on the Stone Stage

2:30 Blue-Tongued Skink Program at Fireside

3:00 Emu Presentation on Stone Stage

3:30 Cane Toad Presentation at Fireside

4:00 Kangaroo Program on the Stone Stage

4:30 Black Swan Presentation at Fireside

*Presentations will start on time- for the best viewing options, please arrive 5-10 minutes before the listed start time. For Gator feeding, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to secure a spot.

Saturday night campfire
Sunday all campers must be checked out before leaving camp.
Campsite to be vacated no later than 12noon.

    You need to bring your own tent, gear, and food for this event!

Den assignments: Each Den should be prepared with a skit for the Campfire.

Use the Comments function to indicate if you will be camping, how many nights, or if you will just be attending the Creature Conservancy.

Registered scouts are free. 
All guest (parents, siblings, and un-registered scouts) must pay at the gate. 
$10 adults and $8 for children under 12yr.
